T-rex did not succumb to an asteroid, to eruptions, or to climate change. T-rex vanished in a mass extinction. A mass
extinction is, by definition, a global economic collapse. Entire families of interdependent species disappear suddenly
like billions of dollars on a free-fall stock market. Cannibalism ensures that no one remains alive. Let's look at this
process in a little more detail in the next module.

We vanished because we
had nothing to eat!

Until now!
So then, how did T-Rex
disappear?
