Summary
Special relativists allege that the length of an object and the distance in its direction of travel contract simply because of the
speed at which it travels. They claim to have derived these supernatural interpretations from equations and to have proven
them with experiments.
First, I argue that we don't need numbers and equations to resolve these qualitative issues. In science, logic always preempts
math and precedes the design of an experiment. Then, we can't prove these allegations with an experiment if we cannot even
design the experiment first. There is no way to design the experiments of Special Relativity because they are based on
unimaginable conditions. A more fundamental problem of the conclusions of Special Relativity is that the mathematicians
attempt to move concepts.
I show here that the entire length contraction theory of Special Relativity is founded on misconceived terms. Specifically,
Einstein's birdbrains confuse length with distance and distance with distance-traveled. The surrealistic physical interpretations
of Special Relativity trace their origins to poor definitions and irrational logic.
